PeopleTech is looking for a Sr. Manager, Product Management to lead a strong team and build products to measure and improve Time Quality, to reduce Pay Defects, and to deliver a Hands off the Wheel vision.
What is Time and Attendance (TAA) all about?
Enabling businesses worldwide to effortlessly set up time and pay at launch.
Employees simply work with worry-free time and pay.
TAA serves Amazon employees across 20 countries and more than a dozen business lines. We are a start-up tackling new, hard problems that Amazon has not solved at scale, creating fundamentally improved ways for employees to record time and reduce pay defects. TAA has a balance of start-up vision and operational excellence, technical complexity and clear product definition, and global scope across multiple Amazon businesses. We are developing a suite of solutions (including self-service hardware and software solutions) that can be configured flexibly and quickly to support Amazon’s high-growth populations.
We’ve all heard about 24/7/365. That’s 8,760 hours in a year. Now multiply that by the hundreds of thousands of employees at Amazon … those who work in our fulfillment, customer service, AMZL Flex, Alexa data services, and AWS data centers; employees in our growing number of Amazon Books bookstores and subsidiaries. On every continent. Factor in the number of different variations of a “work week,” work day, overtime, and an equally daunting amount of reporting requirements. We must be able to move at Amazon speed and support new and varied business launches with products built with increased scalability, configurability, test automation, and rapid deployment.
Are you up for the challenge? Think big and join this start-up team.
Who are we looking for to join our team?
PeopleTech is looking for a highly analytical Product leader with a passion for navigating complex data and driving continuous improvement. This leader will head up the Time and Attendance team’s effort to build great products and solutions that drive improvements in Time Quality, reduce Pay Defects and achieve a Hands off the Wheel vision. We build customer trust with employees by ensuring they are paid accurately. Our Time Quality and Perfect Pay initiatives seek new methods of improving that accuracy by building products to drive automation and address Pay Defect root causes. The best candidates will have real-world experience leading a team and diving into complex data to identify root causes and develop solutions to improve defect rates, then rolling out those solutions to large stakeholder populations.
Responsibilities include defining and owning the portfolio of Time Quality metrics, building a robust metrics deck to spotlight opportunities and trends, working alongside a dedicated tech team to develop a suite of products to solve Pay Defect root causes and improve Time Quality measures, building a center of excellence within TAA for business intelligence, and inspiring a team of product managers and data analysts to build customer trust by improving pay accuracy. You will also drive prioritization for Time and Attendance by assessing and assigning value to projects based on Time Quality and Pay defect reduction impact. Overall, you are not only the leader of Time Quality, you are the moral measurement compass for the Time and Attendance organization.
