    We are looking for outstanding candidates to join our international team at our Amazon Development Center Dresden for 3-6 month Hypervisor Security internships in 2018. Internships are flexible in length to fit in with your university’s placement scheme.

    Our interns join one of our small agile teams at our development center, launching and growing new initiatives for Amazon's global business.
    In our team in Dresden, you will be participating in the lowest layer of the AWS software stack, working on the Linux Kernel and Xen-Hypervisor development for AWS.

    You will be improving the security of our hypervisor stack. Your work will focus on new features in proactive security analysis or reactive security tooling.

    Notwendige Qualifikationen

    • Kernel Development
    • Virtualization (Xen, KVM, other)
    • Strong programming and debugging in C/C++

    • Good communication skills
    • Binary patching
    • Software Live Update
    • Embedded systems and programming close to hardware
    • Experience with large software systems
    • Automation with python or bash
    • Debugging and instrumentation or running binaries
    • Experience with fuzzers (AFL, syzkaller, other)
    • Experience with compiler intermediate languages or compiler plugins (gcc, clang, other)
    • Experience with code coverage (GCOV, KCOV)
    • Experience with static analyzers (clang static analyzer, CBMC, other)
