This is a vital role supporting the management and site leadership of service- and operational delivery. The Facility Manager is responsible for leading the delivery across all aspects of hard and soft facilities including Health & Safety ensuring full statutory compliance, management of all vendors, supporting and leading the on-site team of office manager and receptionists, supporting events and catering on site and ensuring financial management of the FM budget, placing superior customer care at the core of all aspects of the day to day operation on site.
· Responsible for the delivery of all hard and soft services including support for events, catering, mail room, including the direction, supervision and oversight of subcontracted services · Manages the FM budget for site including support for project works in collaboration with the site’s controller · Promotes highest level of satisfaction by promptly responding to service requirements · Assures prompt response by other team members and selected contractors to exceed customer expectations at all times · Demonstrates leadership, gives direction and mentors the office- and receptionist team on site to promote engagement and excellency in customer service and delivery · Management of the Building Management Systems in conjunction with the building FM and landlord · Understanding of the critical systems on site including UPS, generator, fire alarm etc. with an ability to support the systems · Ensures compliance with local legislative requirements, and company best practice, policies and procedures. · Acts as go-to person in relation to all FM activities on site ensuring potential roadblocks are identified and removed · Supports site leadership and crisis management planning and process on a need by basis · Maintains role as primary point of contact for service requests ensuring all requests are actioned within an agreed timeframe. · Develops a close working relationship with vendors under his/her control to ensure that they fully understand the company culture, delivering a high quality service. · Has ability to address minor technical repairs and is first point of contact relating to all building issues · Ensures delivery of PPM in line with agreed timelines and monitors vendors to ensure service delivery in line with KPI/SLAs · Monitors and ensures office housekeeping and cleanliness is delivered to highest quality level Communicates in an open, honest, transparent manner at all times with the ability to tailor the message to specific audience and their needs
- Ability to solve problems at their root, stepping back to understand the broader context. - Has a strong aptitude for trouble shooting and problem solving - Ability to maintain SLAs through the implementation of proactive issue detection and reporting - Ability to follow accurate and complete support procedures, system documentation, and issue tracking entries - Shows good judgment and instincts in decision making - Ability to prioritize in complex, fast-paced environment - Proactively and continually improve your level of knowledge about Amazon business and relevant technologies - Able to demonstrate their ability to take ownership of technical issues brought to them by their customer base. If they are unable to resolve certain issues by themselves, can demonstrate a willingness to actively engage other support teams to drive it to resolution - very good english and german skill sets in speaking and writing
- All qualifications mentioned above - Advanced electrical or mechanical certifications (Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant engineering discipline is also acceptable) OR - 5+ years of experience working in Corporate Offices or Service centers with an emphasis on building and equipment operation
