    Germany Real Estate Country Lead

    The Real Estate Country Lead will be part of Amazon’s European Operations Real Estate organization and focus on the German market. The DE Amazon Real Estate team is responsible for the timely completion of property transactions including acquisitions, renewals, expansions, terminations and reconfiguration of existing logistics buildings (fulfilment centers, delivery stations, etc...)

    The role requires someone who thrives in a fast paced environment with an ability to manage a large number of work streams and an in-depth knowledge of planning law and development of warehousing.

    Main responsibilities :
    • Responsible for the growth and development of the operational network through the sourcing of new logistics properties throughout Germany.
    • Management of negotiations with landlords, agents and lawyers.
    • In-depth knowledge of planning law, development projects and site assembly.
    • Reports and delivers results to the senior leadership team.

    Notwendige Qualifikationen

    Qualifications and Skills:
    • Degree held in a property related subject.
    • Detailed understanding of the logistics sector in Germany.
    • Proven track record in large scale project driven workloads with experience of reporting to multiple internal and external stake holders.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a high level of attention to detail and an ability to manage people and operational functions.
    • A willingness to travel across Germany is essential.
    The successful candidate will be part of an international team and could potentially be required to support an lease negotiations abroad, on a ad hoc basis.
