    Amazon’s Consumables team is looking for an exceptionally motivated and talented Senior Manager Prime Pantry UK (m/f) with a strong customer focus. Amazon Pantry is an exciting development in the way that Amazon sells groceries online. Launched in 2016, it has already built a loyal customer base and is one of the highest growth areas across Amazon UK. Backfilling an internal move, this leader will take Pantry to the next level, using customer insight to further enhance the Pantry offering and make it a destination for customers looking for a simple way to buy their groceries.

    Your Responsibilities:

    • Business ownership, maintaining the high growth rates as well as driving cost savings

    • Leadership of the Instock/PM and Marketing functions that will report into you, ensuring accountability for key metrics such as selection coverage, new customer aquisition, repeat rates and availability.

    • Work with other categories' vendor management teams to improve the cost base, whilst selectively building top to top relationships with key vendors.

    • Optimise the Pantry customer offering. Testing and learning by implementing innovative ideas and exploring new areas to which the Pantry model could be applied.

    • Be an integral part of the Cross-Channel team, playing a key role in defining Amazon's long term strategy for selling groceries.

    • Work closely and sharing best practice with other locales such as US, EU and Japan.

    • Focus on talent management of the Pantry team which includes effectively hiring and developing the best talent, and creating an environment which motivates people to thrive in their expertise and deliver aggressive results.

    Notwendige Qualifikationen

    • Professional experience in either e-commerce, retail or consulting within a demanding corporate environment.

    • Proven analytical skills and ability to influence people both internally and externally.

    • Decisive and able to move with speed to implement ideas.

    • A passionate self-starter, ready to take Amazon’s local customer experience to the next level.

    • Strong communication skills, including ability to write compelling, concise documents and present your ideas with passion and persuasion.

    • Broad commercial awareness developed in a high-growth, fast-moving environment.

    • Strong retail or product background with proven ability to drive change.

    • Clear evidence of managing and motivating a team(s), both direct and indirect reports.

    • Proven English skills – both verbal and written.

    • University degree ideally in a technical or analytical discipline.

    Wünschenswerte Qualifikationen

    • MBA fron a leading business school is beneficial
