To continue building customer trust the Marketplace Abuse team works with brands, merchants and customers to identify and prevent product abuse in areas such as copyright, trademark and counterfeit for our customers worldwide.
We investigate cases of suspected infringement of intellectual property and other abuse on the Amazon Marketplace. We design and implement policies, tools and technology innovations to protect customers. We take appropriate action to defend intellectual property, to protect brands, and to ensure compliance with Amazon policies.
We are looking for an analytical candidate to join the EMEA Marketplace Abuse Team in Munich as a Risk Manager (m/f). You will manage high impact global events and escalations. You will investigate suspected intellectual property infringement and other abusive behavior to assess and eliminate e-commerce risk. You love analyzing complex situations and have exemplary writing skills. You will apply your excellent judgement to identify underlying issues, to improve processes, and to partner with other Amazon compliance teams including Product Quality & Safety, Seller Performance, and Brand Registry.
First professional experience in risk investigation, brand protection, or risk management in relevant fields such as e-commerce, law, customer service or finance
Must love investigating and have excellent research skills
Excellent customer service skills and experience communicating complex thoughts in writing
Track record of using data analysis to support risk assessment decisions
Business proficiency in speaking and writing in English and in one of the following: French, German, Spanish, Italian, Turkish or Arabic.
Experience working in risk, fraud or compliance organizations
Working knowledge of SQL
Intermediate to Advanced skills in Excel or other analytical software
